A Journey Across Borders

It all began with an Erasmus project in Bonn — a spark that ignited a journey of over 25 years living and working across the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. This international path has shaped not only my linguistic expertise but also my deep understanding of how culture influences communication.

An International Career in Communication

After graduating in 1998 in Foreign Languages and Literatures and specialising in European Public Relations, I built a diverse career in communication and customer relations.

​

  • In London, I managed PR and sales within the travel sector and worked as a multilingual telephone interviewer for a market research institute.

  • In Turin, I moved into the digital sphere, promoting multimedia products and developing my skills as a web writer.

  • In Germany, I honed my expertise in multilingual customer care for the fashion industry, handled complex resolution and complaints and represented the brand at international fashion fairs across four languages.

Teaching & Translation - My Core Expertise

Education and translation have been the pillars of my professional life.

I have extensive experience teaching Italian and English in France, Germany and Italy, working with schools, international associations and training centres. I have even had the honour of being a guest speaker at conferences on the history of the Italian language.

 

Since 2007, I have practiced as a professional translator (AITI member since 2010). I specialise in translating from French, English, and German — with a particular focus on Swiss German — into Italian. My areas of expertise include naturopathy, alternative medicine and corporate communication. This solid experience has allowed me to develop a broad and diverse vocabulary and to consolidate specialised glossaries across multiple fields — expertise that I now bring with precision to the teaching of domain-specific languages.

Constant Growth & Creativity

I firmly believe in the power of lifelong learning. My profile is backed by advanced certifications in English, French and German, along with specialised qualifications in language teaching and communication (TEFL, CLIL). ​

​

However, language is more than just a tool for me; it is a creative outlet. I have managed a blog dedicated to life abroad, published an e-book of short stories, and I have always been active in content creation and illustration, bringing a visual dimension to my linguistic work.

Today

Now based in Italy since 2024, I work as a freelance translator and English teacher. I combine decades of international experience with a creative, modern approach to help my clients communicate with precision and soul.
